Q. I've tried glycerine soap before - how does yours compare to others?
A. All glycerine soaps are not created equally. Our soap is 100% real soap and not a combination of detergents and or surfactants, which are erroneously called soap. Surfactants and detergents are derived from crude mineral oil ("motor" oil). By blending them, a synthetic detergent bar is produced. These bars foam and wash well, may even be made in a transparent form, but deteriorate the skin with time. Their damaging action on the skin is usually diminished by the introduction of some additives which reduce this negative effect. Our glycerine soap is a superior form of soap. It is made of pure vegetable oils (no animal testing or products) and contains a high percentage of glycerine. Glycerine is known for its property to keep on moisturizing the skin as the glycerine particles in the pores of the skin keep attracting atmospheric humidity. Other moisturizers and emollients are also used to ensure a gentle, non-drying cleansing bar. Try our soap and you will notice the wonderful difference a pure glycerine soap brings to your skin. Our soaps are:

- Only the Finest Natural Vegetable Oil Recipe - coconut, palm and safflower oils
- 20% Kosher Glycerine Added
- Hypo-Allergenic
- Non-Comedogenic
- No Animal Testing
- No Animal Products (with the exception of milk and honey in certain bars)
- No Detergents
- No Sulfates
- No Surfactants
- No Alcohol
- No Sugar solutions
Q. Can your soap be used in the shower?
A. Absolutely! The color and fragrance are a very pleasurable way to wake up in the morning! And your skin will thank you. You may find that you have less of a need for expensive lotions since the soap is so gentle. Please keep the soap high and dry - on a soap dish that drains - out of the spray of the shower. This will ensure that your soap lasts a maximum amount of time.
Q. Can this soap be used on children?
A. Yes, the soap can be used on people of all ages.
Q. Do you do home parties?
A. No.
Q. Do you have any soap for men?

Q. Can I order custom products?
A. We aim to please, and can make just about anything your heart desires! Just ask!
Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. Our backlog is generally between 2 and 6 business days. If you are in a rush for your order, please let us know your timeframe and we'll let you know if it's possible to meet it.

Q. Do you do soaps for weddings or showers?
A. Yes, we love making these types of soaps. There are special soaps molds we use, and we personalize soaps, see gift soaps.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, and the fact that we cannot control the products once they leave our studio, we cannot accept returns. However, if something arrives damaged, please let us know within 3 days and we will work with the shipper to make it right for you.
Q. Why does my slice of soap look different than the one in the picture?
A. The loaves of soap are frequently made with chunks of soap that are dispersed throughout the loaf. Each slice may look different within each loaf, and loaves will also vary due to the fact that they are handcrafted.
Q. What are your shipping charges?
A. Our packages are shipped Speedy (where available) and USPS Priority Mail. Fees are determined by order totals, and orders that are $100 to $200 shipped to the same location are free. In time, we may add to pricing to this template. For now (2019) pricing is on your order total and begin at $7.95, and go up depending on current pricing.

Q. Do you sell wholesale?
A. No. We are a mail order soap company. We make soaps and sell them at retail prices.
Q. Is your site secure? I want to use a credit card.
A. We use a secure site for our credit card processing.
Q. Do you sell internationally?
A. No.
Q. Do you have a catalog that you could send me?
A. Our "web catalog" is all that we have. We keep adding products frequently and it would render a print catalog obsolete so quickly.
Q. How is your soap packaged?
A. Unless stated otherwise, our soaps are packaged in a clear bags with a label on the back.
Q. What is your privacy policy?
A. At Soapourri, we take your right to privacy seriously and want you to feel comfortable using our website. We capture your personal information when you place an order. We do not share that information with anyone. Ever. The personal information that we save on our server does not include your credit card information, which is kept on a Secure Server at the credit card processing company.
